Last year, we enacted the Affordable Care Act. This legislation was important for seniors, because it made improvements to the Medicare program.

Make It In America means creating the conditions for companies to make products here in the U.S. and sell them to the worldto innovate here, grow here, and create jobs here.

The Make It In America agenda is a plan to create jobs and restore the competitiveness of our manufacturing industry by encouraging businesses to make products and innovate in the U.S. and sell it to the world.

As a nation, we owe our teachers a great debt, not only for our education in the classroom, but for inspiring and encouraging us to be and do better.

Republicans have now voted twice to end Medicare, which would raise costs and cut benefits for seniors here in Marylands Fifth District.

I understand the importance of cutting low-priority spending to get our budget under control. But there is nothing low-priority about the firefighters who protect our communities, our families, and our homes.
