Today, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) joined Representatives Don Beyer (VA-08), Gerald E. Connolly (VA-11), Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), John Sarbanes (MD-03), Jamie Raskin (MD-08), Anthony Brown (MD-04), Jennifer Wexton (VA-10), and David Trone (MD-06), who represent the National Capital Region in the House of Representatives, issued the following statement on the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Board of Directors’ selection of Randy Clarke as General Manager and CEO:

Jackson, MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center President Stephen T. Michaels, MD, and MedStar leadership for a ribbon cutting ceremony dedicated to the fully-renovated, state-of-the-art behavioral health unit at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Prince George’s County.
