WASHINGTON, DC –  Today, members of the Regional Leadership Council (RLC) and its chair, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05), met with Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack to discuss the implementation of legislation to Invest in America, including the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) – as well as the jobs and other opportunities that these policies will create in rural communities across the country.

HUGHESVILLE, MD – Today, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) visited the College of Southern Maryland's Regional Hughesville Campus for the grand opening of the new Center for Health Sciences building. Congressman Hoyer secured $550,000 in federal funding in the Fiscal Year 2022 Omnibus to enhance the center's programming and to upgrade its facilities and equipment.
