I'm proud that Maryland's Fifth Congressional District has a long tradition of sending dedicated and talented men and women to our Armed Forces – and that they serve our country with honor and make a difference through their service.

Today, I met with Dr. Wen to discuss what Congress can be doing to improve public health in Maryland.

The SafeTrack maintenance plan is currently underway, and it is our hope that Metro meets the safety requirements outlined by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Transit Administration, institutes a culture of safety, and restores the faith of the public upon completion.
