The lawmakers urged MTS to do right by the workers affected by the transition in the contract by reaching a PLA, and requested a written response from MTS by July 12 detailing its efforts to secure an agreement with the project’s workers.

The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey is stunning after nearly 50 years of precedent upholding that women in our country have a right to make their own reproductive health care decisions. I am outraged by the Court’s ruling, which not only strips away the fundamental rights of women to decide their own futures, but also ignores the overwhelming majority of Americans who support the protections provided under Roe v. Wade.
