Hoyer (MD-05) sent a letter to Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue expressing his opposition to the recent announcement by the Department of Agriculture that it would relocate the Economic Research Service (ERS) and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) out of the Washington, DC area. Nearly 700 federal employees will be affected by the relocation.
