GREENBELT, MD Today, Congressman Steny Hoyer (D-MD) welcomed Englands Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, to NASAs Goddard Space Flight Center, where the royal couple toured the facility, spoke with crew aboard the International Space Station, and was welcomed with a formal greeting ceremony, among other things.________________________________________________________________________

Hoyer (D-MD) announced today that he will hold a live telephone town hall meeting on Tuesday, May, 1, from 6:00-6:45 p.m. The tele-town hall, which is the first hosted by Rep. Hoyer, is intended to provide an additional forum for 5th district constituents to hear directly from their Congressman and to communicate their thoughts, concerns, and questions about federal issues that are important to them.________________________________________________________________________

WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman Steny Hoyer (D-MD) visited the Greenbelt Veterans Community Clinic on Wednesday, April 11, to tour the facility and talk to caregivers about patient services. The small outpatient clinic, which serves approximately 2,000 veterans per year, provides basic medical and preventive care as well as health education to veterans living in Northern Prince George's County.________________________________________________________________________
