A ribbon was cut Friday to mark the beginning of the Patuxent River Flight Academy at the Dr. James Forrest Career and Technology Center. A number of dignitaries were on hand to hear remarks, cut the ribbon and tour the state-of-the-art Aviation Classroom Experience (ACE).

The claims backlog that veterans in Maryland and across the country are facing is unacceptable. However, I am hopeful that working together we can improve services for veterans in our state, and ensure they have the care and resources they have earned and deserve as quickly as possible.
