Today, U.S. Congressman Steny H. Hoyer joined U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen and every Democratic member of the Maryland Congressional Delegation in urging the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to protect two missions vital to Maryland's leadership in earth and space science.

I was glad to have the opportunity to share my strong support for a Congressional resolution to establish the Washington Metrorail Safety Commission, currently under consideration in the House of Representatives, with the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments' Board of Directors.
