As we welcome the start of a new session of the Maryland General Assembly, I encourage my colleagues in Annapolis to take action on the issues most important to families in Maryland, including lowering health care costs, taking action to protect the Chesapeake Bay and other vital resources, improving education and supporting our teachers, and expanding access to economic opportunity.
