Today Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) and Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) led a bicameral letter to U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Sonny Perdue about the proposed relocation of the USDA’s Economic Research Service (ERS) and National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA).

This resolution is not about partisanship; it is about prejudice and the necessity to confront it.

This afternoon, I was called to preside over the House after Ranking Member Collins and Republican Members chose to play games with the rules rather than allow an honest debate over the racist words used by President Trump.
