On Child Tax Credit Awareness Day, Congressman Hoyer (MD-05) joined in promoting the benefits of the American Rescue Plan’s expanded Child Tax Credit for Fifth District families. This major assistance puts money directly in the pockets of families throughout our state. The first installment of automatic direct payments will be sent to most Maryland families on July 15. Eligible families will receive $300 per month for children under the age of 6 and $250 per month for children between the ages of 6 and 17.
