A MESSAGE FROM CONGRESSMAN STENY H. HOYER

I hope you and your family are staying healthy and safe during this trying time. Yesterday, Maryland State Superintendent of Schools Karen Salmon announced that schools in our state will be closed for the remainder of the academic year. Students will still complete their coursework virtually, and online instruction will continue. I know this news presents challenges to many families in the Fifth District, but it's important to listen to our public health officials and take every necessary precaution to keep our children, our families, and our communities safe and healthy.

Despite schools being physically closed, meals are still available to students. / or call one of my district offices. If you live in Prince George's, Anne Arundel, or Calvert Counties, please call (301) 474-0119. If you live in Charles or St. Mary's Counties, please call (301) 843-1577.
