Hoyer Welcomes North Point High School JROTC Students to U.S. Capitol Building

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) welcomed North Point High School students, who participate in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program, to the U.S. Capitol today. Congressman Hoyer met the students on the steps of the Capitol before the students toured the Capitol building and the Capitol Visitor Center.

"I'm pleased these outstanding students and their instructors visited the Capitol today," stated Congressman Hoyer. "I enjoyed meeting with them and thanked them for their hard work in the JROTC program, which provides important leadership training and aerospace science education that will prepare them for the military and jobs of tomorrow."
