Hoyer Welcomes Henry E. Lackey High School Students to U.S. Capitol Building

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) welcomed students from Henry E. Lackey High School in Indian Head, Maryland to the U.S. Capitol building. Congressman Hoyer met the students on the steps of the Capitol building and took them on a tour of the House Chamber. Prior to meeting Congressman Hoyer, the students toured the Capitol building and the Capitol Visitor Center.
"I'm pleased I could meet with Lackey High School students today and take them on a tour of the House Chamber," stated Congressman Hoyer. "I described to the students, who are studying U.S. government at Lackey, the history of the Chamber and my experience serving as their Congressman. I thank them and their teacher, Eric Duchaj, for joining me today."
