“Two years ago today, President Biden signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. As part of our Investing In America Agenda, Democrats led the successful effort to secure the greatest investment in America's infrastructure since Eisenhower's Interstate Highway System. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is already transforming communities in every corner of the country.

“Only two years later, and we have announced $400 billion in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding for 40,000 projects in 4,500 communities across America – from the new Frederick Douglass Tunnel here in Maryland to the expansion of the Port of Nome in Alaska. Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure law, we continue to pave roads; build bridges; replace lead pipes; upgrade airports and harbors; expand access to affordable high-speed internet, public transit, and new green technologies; and much more. These projects are creating millions of good-paying jobs in the process. Every American deserves to feel the impact of these policies and to access these new opportunities.

“Revitalizing American infrastructure has been one of my top priorities ever since I launched my Make It In America Agenda back in 2010. As Chair of the Regional Leadership Council (RLC), I am proud to work with my Council colleagues and with the Biden-Harris administration to advance that shared mission by implementing this historic law. Together, we're Investing in America so that everyone can Make It In America.”
