NEWSLETTER: Information About COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments

February 17, 2021

A MESSAGE FROM CONGRESSMAN STENY H. HOYER

The COVID-19 vaccine is currently being distributed throughout our state. Though vaccine supply remains limited, I'm encouraged by President Biden's commitment to increase the number of vaccine doses to states like Maryland, and by the launch of the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program so that individuals can get vaccinated at select pharmacies in their communities.

I understand the frustration and confusion surrounding vaccine distribution in our state, and my staff and I are working diligently to encourage the Governor to make the process more transparent and easy to navigate. Vaccine supply is still limited in our state, but if you are eligible to receive the vaccine, you should register for an appointment as soon as possible. Marylanders 65 years old and older, health care providers, educators, law enforcement officials, those living and working in assisted living facilities, and individuals living in congregate facilities such as shelters and transitional housing are eligible to receive the vaccine now. please complete the casework request form by clicking here.

Sincerely Yours,
