Hoyer Visits MGM National Harbor Site
NATIONAL HARBOR, MD – Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) today visited MGM National Harbor, a destination gaming resort project located in Prince George's County that is expected to open later this year.
"I was pleased to visit MGM National Harbor today to meet with executives, greet employees, and tour the construction site," said Congressman Steny Hoyer. "This project will bring thousands of jobs to Prince George's County, attract tourists from around the country to our area, and contribute millions of dollars in revenue to the state of Maryland. I look forward to continuing to work with MGM officials as they work to bring this resort to Prince George's County, which is currently the largest economic development project in the County."
The $1.3 billion MGM National Harbor resort will include a 24-floor, 308-room luxury hotel, a casino, a 3,000?seat theater, retail and meeting space, and restaurants from renowned local and national chefs.
