Hoyer Tours Eaton Corporation's Beltsville Facility

BELTSVILLE, MD –Today, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) toured Eaton Corporation's manufacturing facility to learn more about the work they are doing to grow manufacturing in Maryland. Eaton Corporation is a leading innovator and manufacturer in the aerospace industry. During the visit, Congressman Hoyer discussed House Democrats' Make It In America economic agenda, as well as the recently launched Make It In America listening tour.

"I appreciated learning more about the work Eaton Corporation is doing to spur innovation in Maryland," said Congressman Hoyer. "The Make It In America listening tour is an important opportunity to hear directly from entrepreneurs and identify ways Congress can encourage more innovators to build their businesses – and create jobs – right here at home. I was glad to speak with business leaders in the Fifth District about the ways they are working to boost economic growth in our state and hear their views on what Congress should be doing to facilitate their efforts. We need more businesses locating, hiring, and innovating here in America, like Eaton Corporation has done in Prince George's County. Learning from success stories is an important part of my listening tour, so that Congress can pursue policies that will capitalize on new economic opportunities and address today's economic challenges."
