Hoyer Statement on Assistant Secretary McGinn's Visit to Patuxent River Naval Air Station

PATUXENT RIVER, MD– Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) released the following statement today after joining Dennis V. McGinn, Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy, Installations & Environment, for a tour of Patuxent River Naval Air Station:

“Today, I joined Assistant Secretary McGinn on his first official visit to Pax River as head of Energy, Installations, and Environment for the Department of the Navy. I was pleased to learn more about his vision for programs related to installations, safety, energy, and environment, and that he had the opportunity to see the world-class facilities of Pax River first-hand. I thank him for his visit today, and I look forward to working together to strengthen national security and ensure that Pax River remains the premier center for buying, researching, testing and developing naval aircraft.”
