Hoyer Cuts Ribbon for CSE's New Headquarters in Prince George's County
CSE, a company based in Calvert County, opened the office in Seabrook to better serve its nearby NASA customers at Goddard Space Flight Center.
During the ribbon cutting, Hoyer announced $2 million in federal funds toward the Integrated Modeling Environment for Safety of Space Flight Initiative at Goddard Space and Flight Center.
"I am pleased that we were able to secure the funds necessary to develop the collaborative software capability NASA managers need to solve complex engineering problems," Hoyer said. "With this capability, scientists will be able to reduce the risks associated with manned flight."
"Our company is developing a software solution that will be a world-class systems engineering and process improvement tool which will enable NASA scientists, engineers and technicians to share information, in real time, regardless of where each of them may be located," said CSE President Amanda Stone. "We are grateful to Congressman Hoyer for helping secure a $2 million appropriation that has made it possible for us to work on this important project."
Constellation Software Engineering, Corp., a woman owned business, was founded in 1997 to deliver software products and consulting services.
"CSE is moving technology forward and in the process improving the quality of life throughout my district," Hoyer concluded.
