Hoyer Attends Town Hall Meeting to Discuss President Trump's Muslim Ban

LANHAM, MD – Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) joined Congressman Anthony Brown (MD-04) at a town hall meeting tonight to discuss President Trump's Muslim ban, among other current issues. The meeting was hosted by the Prince George's County Muslim Council:

"Tonight I joined Congressman Anthony Brown, the Prince George's County Muslim Council, and Fifth District residents to discuss President Trump's unconstitutional Muslim ban and other current issues facing our nation. The Trump Administration's ban makes our nation less safe and goes against the values our country was founded upon. I was encouraged to hear from so many members of the community this evening who are fighting against discrimination, and instead are embracing the differences that make our community, and the United States as a whole, stronger.
