Hoyer Attends Briefing and Roundtable at Prince George's County Vet Center
CLINTON, MD – Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) attended a briefing and discussion at the Prince George's County Vet Center to learn more about the services available to the over 90,000 veterans in the Fifth District.
"The Vet Center here in Clinton has been an important asset to veterans in the Fifth District, and I commend its staff for their dedication to helping veterans
transition back to civilian life," stated Congressman Hoyer. "Their hard work is helping veterans in our community find meaningful jobs in this tough economy, apply for the benefits they earned during their service, and obtain counseling to deal with the challenges of transitioning."
"I will continue to work with my colleagues in Congress to make sure the federal government is doing its part to provide veterans with all of the services they
have earned and deserve," Congressman Hoyer continued. "We all have the duty to help the VA serve the brave men and women in uniform who serve us so
well."
