Hoyer Announces Federal Funds to Sustain Agriculture in Southern Maryland
Washington, DC Congressman Steny Hoyer today announced that the House of Representatives has passed the Agriculture Appropriations bill for Fiscal Year 2005, which includes significant federal funds for a number of programs that will benefit Southern Maryland. Rep. Hoyer, a senior member of the Appropriations Committee, took a lead role in securing the funding for these important projects which were not included in the Presidents budget for fiscal year 2005.________________________________________________________________________
